Ethos deploys its Grid-Tie Solar Inverters to generate 225 MWH Energy

Ethos Power recently bagged an order from UHBVN, Haryana’s Power Discom for Design, Engineering, Supply, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of rooftop grid connected Solar PV Systems at the Discom’s 10 different Power Substations. The sites were spread across 3 Districts of Haryana State and the scope included complete Power Evacuation System as well as O&M (Operation and Maintenance) of PV Systems for 5 years.

The project was allotted based on domestic competitive bidding under Government of India’s Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS). Ethos commissioned all the systems ahead of completion schedule deploying its newly launched KTL Series of Three-Phase Grid-Tie Inverters sized from 10-30 KW. The newly deployed Solar PV power plants are likely to generate 225 MWH of clean energy annually and enable all the Substations to feed the surplus energy to the grid under the Net-Metering Regulations.

Ethos’ inverters deliver extraordinarily high energy yields with the maximum efficiency exceeding 97%. The Grid-Tie Inverters have built-in Data Loggers and GPRS Communication Modules for real-time monitoring of the energy output. Inverters are also protected to IP65, making them suitable for continuous service at outdoor locations. The Multi-MPPT design provides better redundancy as well as better energy output due to string level optimization.

Ethos’ Solar Inverters have been successfully type tested by Govt. of India’s APEX Testing Agency – National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) and TUV Rheinland. It has been found to meet all the performance standards specified by International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), Geneva.
