Ethos Power is proud to announce its latest milestone: winning a prestigious turnkey project for design, engineering, supply, installation, and commissioning of a 220 KV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) Substation for Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), the country’s leading automobile manufacturer.
The state-of-the-art substation package includes:
- 220 KV GIS Bays
- 66 KV Hybrid GIS Bays
- 100 MVA Power Transformer
- Comprehensive Substation Automation Equipment with Control & Relay Panels (CRP) and a modern Substation Automation System (SAS)
The new substation will inject 100 MVA of power into the facility’s network. This major infrastructure upgrade will significantly reduce MSIL’s dependence on gas-powered turbines and directly support its Carbon Neutrality targets by enabling cleaner, more reliable grid power integration.
